OnCue Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

OnCue (“the app”) is a mobile reminders app published by BrewLab (Felipe Díaz Garay), based in Chile. Contact: [email protected].

2. Summary

OnCue is built on privacy by design. Everything you enter is stored only on your device. We do not collect, transmit, sell, or share any personal data.

3. Data we collect

None. Specifically:

  • No account or sign-up is required.
  • We never ask for your name, email, phone number, or anything else that identifies you.
  • We use no cookies, analytics, telemetry, advertising, or third-party tracking tools.
  • We send no data to our own servers or anyone else’s.

4. Where your data lives

Reminders, history, and preferences are stored locally on your device:

  • SQLite: a local database for reminders and history.
  • AsyncStorage: preferences such as theme, language, and onboarding state.

Only you can access this data. Uninstalling the app deletes it permanently.

5. Notifications

OnCue uses local notifications to remind you of your tasks. They are scheduled on your device and never go through a server. The notification permission is optional, and you can turn it off at any time in your system settings.

6. App permissions

PermissionWhat it’s used for
NotificationsDelivering the reminders you set up. Fully local.

OnCue does not request access to your camera, contacts, location, microphone, or any other device sensor.

7. Third parties

We share data with no one. Since we collect nothing, there is nothing to share, sell, or transfer.

8. Security

Your data is protected by your operating system’s local storage. OnCue has no network infrastructure, so there are no remote attack vectors tied to the app.

9. Your rights

Because we never process your data on a server, you control it entirely inside the app: view, edit, or delete it whenever you like, or uninstall the app to erase everything. If you email us, we use your address only to reply.

10. Children

OnCue is not specifically directed at children under 13. Since we collect no personal data of any kind, we do not process children’s data.

11. Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, we will publish the new version on this page with its effective date. If a change ever involved collecting data, the app would ask for your explicit consent first.
