OnCue Terms of Use
1. Acceptance
By downloading, installing, or using OnCue (“the app”) you agree to these terms of use. If you don’t agree, don’t use the app. OnCue is published by BrewLab (Felipe Díaz Garay), Chile.
2. The service
OnCue is a personal reminders app for mobile. It lets you create, edit, snooze, and complete reminders with configurable notifications. Everything runs locally on your device.
3. Acceptable use
You agree to:
- Use the app only for personal, lawful purposes.
- Not decompile, reverse engineer, or modify the app.
- Not distribute unauthorized copies of the app.
- Not use the app in any way that could damage, disable, or impair it.
4. Intellectual property
The app, including its code, design, interfaces, logos, and text, is owned by BrewLab and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. The typefaces it uses (Syne, Outfit, IBM Plex Mono) are licensed under the SIL Open Font License.
5. Your data and backups
As described in the privacy policy, OnCue does not collect or store personal data on external servers: everything stays on your device.
- Local backups: The app includes a feature that allows you to manually export your data (reminders, history, and preferences) to a local file in JSON format. Storing, managing, and transferring this file is solely your responsibility.
- Data loss: OnCue offers no cloud backup or data recovery services. Uninstalling the app without having previously exported a backup will permanently delete all your data.
6. Availability
OnCue is provided “as is” and “as available”. We don’t guarantee it will be free of errors or interruptions. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the app at any time.
7. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, BrewLab is not liable for:
- Loss of data stored on your device.
- Damages arising from using, or being unable to use, the app.
- The consequences of reminders that are missed, delayed, or incorrect.
- Indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages.
Nothing in these terms limits any non-waivable rights you have under the consumer protection laws of your country.
8. Updates
We may release updates to improve features, fix bugs, or add functionality. They’re delivered through the app stores (Google Play, App Store) or as over-the-air (OTA) updates.
9. Changes to these terms
We may change these terms. Changes take effect when published on this page with a new effective date. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept the updated terms.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Chile, without prejudice to the mandatory rules of your country of residence.
